What is N-880 Clamshell Press?
N-880 heat press is the HIX Nseries’s article, especially designed for commercial-grade use with heavy-duty press features. It works on a pre-press release feature, where the garment gets wrinkle-free before the release of the upper platen for applied transfer.
Industrial Applications
The N-880 is designed for retail and high-volume productions, corporate merchandise, brands, and multi-garment productions. Automatically, it adjusts the pressure according to material thickness.
Digital Touchscreen Control & Precision
We install a calibrated digital timer and temperature control, which work with precision. The timer is adjustable up to 999 seconds, while temperature control is up to 450°F. Air automatically controls and regulates the pressure, and the digital screen always shows the current pressure.
Air Cylinder Lift System
The n-880 clamshell press is manufactured on an air cylinder lift system. Its mechanism completely worked on a pneumatic air cylinder with an air valve and bushings. The system works well with a clean air source (free of oil and water). Thus, we require a water separator and an air compressor for that purpose.
Heavy Duty Construction for Industrial Use
For heavy-duty industrial use, the n-880 clamshell works in an efficient way. First, the cylinder lifts the top platen while the air valve lifts the lower platen to reduce clamping. The bushings are installed at the hinges to increase the durability of the equipment.
Angle Wide Opening
The heat press opens up about forty degrees to easily place the heat transfer substrate. You can also open the platen by pressing the release button before the elapsed time to press out wrinkles from the fabric.
ETL Testified Machines
Our n-880 clamshell instruments are ETL certified (Electrical Testing Laboratory), where each machine is mechanically tested to ensure good performance. All machines come with a lifetime warranty for heat elements, while a one-year warranty for other components.
